Cut and join MP3 & WAV audio

Audio stays on your device

Choose MP3 or uncompressed PCM WAV files, keep a time range from each, arrange their order and save one MP3 or WAV file. All audio processing happens in your browser.

Start with your audio

Choose recordings or audio files that you have permission to edit.

Up to 6 files, 20 MB per file and 5 minutes of decoded audio in total. Mono or stereo MP3 is supported when your browser can decode it. WAV must be uncompressed mono or stereo PCM at 44,100 Hz with 8, 16, 24 or 32-bit integer samples. Large files may exceed your device’s memory.

Audio files, file names and selected time ranges are not uploaded or sent to analytics. The page may load advertising and site analytics separately.

Enter the start and end in seconds. Each selected range is joined in the order shown; tracks are not mixed over one another.

    Your audio file

Choose MP3 at 32–320 kbps or uncompressed 16-bit PCM WAV. WAV is saved at 44,100 Hz; low-bitrate MP3 may use a lower sample rate. Mono is kept when all tracks are mono; otherwise the output is stereo. AAC and FLAC are not supported.

    How to use

    1. Choose one or more local MP3 files or uncompressed PCM WAV files at 44,100 Hz.
    2. Set the start and end of each range, preview it and change the track order with the arrow buttons.
    3. Choose MP3 or WAV and, for MP3, a bitrate. Create the audio, listen to the result and download it. Adding or changing a track or changing the format or bitrate clears the previous result.

    About the result

    • WAV files can be much larger than compressed audio. Saving at 16 bits may reduce the precision of 24-bit or 32-bit input. MP3 is lossy, and re-encoding can reduce quality; keep the originals. MP3 can add a short silence from encoder delay/padding, so a result close to 5 minutes may exceed the import limit when reopened.
    • Audio is processed at 44,100 Hz. The MP3 encoder may lower the output sample rate at low bitrates. The output contains audio only; original tags, cover art and other metadata are not copied.
    • Keep the original files. Closing or reloading this page clears the editing session, and the service does not store a backup.

Use your own recordings or audio you are permitted to edit. Editing or converting a file does not grant permission to publish, distribute or commercially use its contents.
