Extract GIF frames
How to use
Make a GIF
- Add still images and arrange their order with the move buttons.
- Set the frame interval, longest edge and repeat option.
- Create the GIF, preview it and download the result.
Extract GIF frames
- Choose an animated GIF from your device.
- Extract complete PNG frames, including the combined partial images.
- Preview the frames and download them individually or together as a ZIP.
About the results
- Each created GIF frame uses at most 256 colors and a white background for transparent input. Colors and gradients may change.
- The first image sets the aspect ratio; other images fit inside with white margins. All created frames use the same interval.
- Extraction combines partial frames and disposal rules into complete PNGs at the original GIF dimensions. Source GIF timing is shown in milliseconds.
- Reloading clears files and results. Keep the originals. Browser memory limits can stop large jobs.
Use images you own or have permission to edit. Converting or extracting frames does not grant publication or commercial-use rights.
