The Cloud Postman's First Delivery

A big promise in a little bag. Come along on Miro's first delivery.

SANYANGGAE

One Letter's Journey

What lies between a message sent with love and someone waiting to receive it? A new postman is about to follow that path.

His Very First Mailbag

Miro, the new postman at the cloud post office, fastened his tan bag tightly. Inside was one invitation to a gathering on Starlight Hill.

Before the Sun Goes Down

“I'll deliver it before the sun goes down.” Miro straightened his red scarf and set off. Thinking of the friend waiting for the invitation put a happy bounce in his steps.

A Sudden Gust

But as he entered the forest, a gust of wind swept past. Raindrops tapped on his bag, and even the little sign showing the way spun around.

Time to Pause

Miro sheltered under a big tree with his bag hugged close. He wanted to hurry, but he waited for the rain to ease. “I can't deliver the invitation if I rush off and get lost.”

A Little Bird Knows the Way

When the rain stopped, a little bird landed on a branch. “Going to Starlight Hill? Follow the path with the sparkling leaves.” Miro looked up and saw the path the bird was pointing out.

Finding the Way Together

Miro and the bird put the sign at the fork back the right way. “Thank you. Now the next friend can find the way, too.” With his path clear, Miro set off again with a spring in his step.

The Torn Invitation

At the foot of the hill, Miro opened his bag. One side of the damp invitation had torn. His ears drooped: the gap made the name of the meeting place hard to read.

A Problem to Share

“If I hand it over like this, my friend won't know where to go.” Miro gathered the torn pieces neatly. He decided to ask for help instead of hiding the problem, and the little bird called a squirrel over.

Putting the Pieces Together

The squirrel brought a flat piece of wood, and the bird gently held the paper's edge. Miro took tape from his bag and mended the tear. The separated letters joined up again.

We Can Read It Again

“Starlight Hill, at sunset!” The three friends read the invitation together. Miro checked that no letters were missing before saying goodbye. “Thank you for helping me keep my promise.”

A Delivery in the Sunset

As the sky turned peach, Miro finally reached the hill. He handed the invitation to his waiting friend and explained honestly how it had got wet and torn.

The Message Arrived, Too

His friend opened the mended invitation wide. “I can read it! Thank you for bringing it all the way.” Miro's bag was lighter now, and his heart was full of his friends' kind voices.

Let's Talk Together

Who helped Miro keep his promise, and what did they do? When something is difficult, who would you like to ask for help?

Until the Next Delivery

The first delivery is done. Now Miro knows that keeping a promise can mean having the courage to pause and the voice to ask for help.
